Fall/Winter CSA- New! 8 weeks of fall and winter crops, from storage and from the hoophouse, including leafy greens (kale, collards, Brussels greens, chard, etc), cabbage, root veggies, winter squash, garlic, and perhaps a few surprises. Season: November-December. Pick up Saturday mornings at the indoor winter farmers' market in Bldg. 50, The Commons.
*Focus on Baby Greens-- more salad mix and lettuces in CSA shares and at market, all spring, summer, and fall.
*Expanded Transplant Sales-- Plant sales were such a hit in 2013, we've decided to bring even more to market, as well as continue custom orders. Veggie, Flower, and Herb transplants are grown in a media consisting of compost, peat, and vermiculite, amended with kelp, ag lime, and bloodmeal-- NO chemical fertilizers or wetting agents. All of our plants are grown from non-GMO seed, and organic seed when possible, in our heated greenhouse. We would never knowingly purchase or sell GMO seed or plant material. We choose our favorite varieties for sale, those that perform well for us in the TC area, selected for flavor, beauty, productivity, and disease resistance. We are always open to suggestions for new varieties to try. Plants will be available by the dozen (mix and match) or individually, and farmers will be available at market for Q&A, or by appointment for garden consultation.
*Additional Farmers' Market: Come find us at the Monday afternoon market outdoors on the lawn at The Commons, for a more relaxed, spacious market experience.
We will continue to offer Investor Shares as well as all of our lovely produce and plants for sale at our farmers' market stalls.
