Weekly Pickup Examples from 2009
At Sweeter Song Farm, farmer Jim keeps great records and we share all our production and financial information yearly with our shareholders. During the pickup season, we record each week's produce offerings and their worth. Despite last summer's cool weather and that nasty tomato blight, we were able to distribute over 232 pounds of food worth approximately $586 to each shareholder. Here are some examples of produce and fruit given out at various times during the 2009 season.
