Sweeter Song Farm Work Share

You can purchase a share from us in exchange for work. We expect quality work for the share, so it is best suited to someone who is familiar with plants and growing things and can tolerate outdoors work. The actual requirements are as follows:

Work Share Expectations

The typical jobs will be hoeing, weeding and harvesting. However, you may be asked to do other things depending on the need that day.

Hours: 60 (based on cost of share divided by base wage of $7.00 per hour)

Completion of hours: A certain portion of your hours need to be completed by the schedule given below to be eligible to pick up your share. If hours are not completed, your pick-up will be delayed or suspended until your hour commitment is met. Hours may be completed sooner than the schedule below.

Hour Completion schedule:

May 1st to June 15th: 30 hours
June 16th to July 31st: 15 hours
August 1st to September 30th: 15 hours

Scheduling hours: Work days and hours need to be scheduled 2 weeks prior to the work periods given above. The schedules will be posted on the online calendar. You may reschedule your hours if you need to, as long as they are completed following the schedule above.
