This 49 page training manual was designed to be used as a training aide for the CSA mini-schools that we have held. We believe it is also useful as a stand-alone document for anyone interested in starting a CSA farm. All of the manual chapters are available here in PDF format. Feel free to copy these files. If you use content in articles for publication, please provide reference to the CSA-MI Training Manual and this website for contact information. If you will be copying extensively, please contact us in advance. We are no longer printing this document.Use these files to create your own manual. If you need many copies, you may want to create a CD with the pdf files and take that to a copy shop. There you will be able to get two-sided copies. We have used a simple 3-ring binder portfolio from an office supply shop to bind the manuals, and print them on 3-punch paper. A Spanish translation of the manual available below.
